DC from Central Oahu, about 15 miles northwest from Honolulu, Hawaii. We own a 2014 Taco we bought brand new to replace a 1993 Toyota 4x4 Hilux Pickup (yota) with a 4 cylinder 22RE engine. Was to busy to work on the yota so took it to a mechanic who said there's lots of things going wrong at that it was going to cost $6000 to fix. Leaky shocks, timing chain noise rubbing the timing cover, rear brakes leaking so he told us to sell it. That night he called saying he founf 10 buyers inluding himself and that the price should be $2000. We had already bought the 2014 Taco but I fixed the yota myself haven't done any major work since high school auto shop 31 years ago so had to brush up and got to buy some Snap On and air tools along the way. Now we have 2 trucks and love both of them.

    Aloha from Hawaii
