Weird feeling at a stop and start

    To piggyback what you just said... I was thinking that it's totally temperature related. I didn't start noticing it until late May (hence the AC discussion). I just got done having one of our maintenance guys where I work at take a look and he's convinced it's the calipers sticking or an issue with the ABS system that Toyota makes. He said his sister's 4runner is identical. Still going to the Toy mechanic next week to get to the bottom. :violent:

    Update*: I've since lifted my truck and put 33"s on it. I lubed the crap outta the whole drive line and since I don't have the "clunk" anymore. It definitely is not the leaf springs or the brake cylinders. It points to being the slip yoke.

    OP, any issues popped up since lubing the slip yoke? My 07's been doing the same thing. Already had the U-Joints and carrier bearing replaced (those were presenting different issues). Once those were replaced, I noticed the momentum transfer "clunk" or whatever you want to call it when I stop and go. Also, I can be at a complete stop and with my foot still on the brake, the truck will lurch forward a few inches.
