smooth man! I used to get alignments nearly every 3 months from O/R'ing so it kept everything from seizing. I was able to get it all off with no issues, and put it all back together. The steering was off but I need an alignment anyway so, nbd there. I also re-greased the inner bolt of each on the one LCA to continue preventing it from seizing. def glad i did it myself and saved a shit ton by going through rockauto. the MOOG brand looks and feels SOLID like the OEM LCA, good option for future ppl

Can you use that HVAC coil cleaner spray stuff to clean a radiator? It should foam up nicely and bring out the dirt.

Really though, I don't know if it might damage rubber or paint or something...

    quick search...

If you try it, make sure whatever "coil cleaner" you get is safe for aluminum. Some of them are very caustic and will etch or otherwise damage aluminum as well as plastics.

I wouldn't be surprised if I do but I like the look and I'd rather the skid plate get messed up than anything above it.

I def dont wonna bash any dreams, but that skid wont protect anything above it after the first time it makes real contact with a rock. it'll crack/dent easily enough to penetrate what ever's above it, just my 2 cents.

For most of us, our entire front end of the truck has rested solely on the skid plate (steel, 3/16-1/4") and saved much headache and $$ since they didnt do anything but scratch. thats the kind of protection you want/need.
