I've only lived here for two years. Last time I was in Benicia (before buying a house here) was in 1988 for a lame-ass downtown skatepark extravaganza.

Now they have a badass skatepark off Rose drive.

Think I'll kickoff the Father's Day weekend by tailing-in tomorrow morning...

@ffdawson I have a balljoint seperater, a pickle fork and a cheap set of spring compressors if you want to swing by and grab them. I can't offer a hand as I have a honey do project to get done.

Hey, that "lame ass skate park" was the first free public skate park in NorCal. When I was a kid I got the opportunity to skate with my heroes while they did Thrasher photo shoots and terrorized First St antique shoppers. My favorite skate rat was Steve Caballero, dude has a great street style(for back then, I read that he still skates to this day) and wasn't afraid of showing some punk ass locals how to shred better...

As far as the new park; its nice, but I'm old and fragile now(did I mention fat? Yeah. that too).

I could! If I'm back from visiting the in laws on the 4 I may go.

But we need to camp for sure. I'm working the Habitat hard, but I think she needs to see to believe.

I still have Caballero and Hawks original first pro boards hanging in my garage, I used to have an original dogtown board as well but I traded it for a bong in the mid 90's :rasta:.

I just love hearing my wife paid $200 to get her hair done, hates it and now wants to go to someone else to fix it. Don't worry we don't need money and don't have a ton of stuff we could spend the money on more...

Just got back from a quick overnight camp trip with some friends at spicer resevoir. Was tempted to hit slick rock since it was right there but didn't have anyone else to roll with.

Headed home today and just my luck, got a cel as I was about to leave the campsite. Of course it was the p0333 code. Driving back in limp mode sucked! Going to drop off the truck at my mechanic this week. Hoping this camping trip doesn't end up to be an expensive one.

Finally got my auxiliary battery all done and the wiring all cleaned up. Can't thank @Iggy. enough for all his wiring expertise and help!! Couldn't have done it without him.
We used his switch panel, spod system and put the battery box in the bed. Also did OBA with an ARB twin compressor and 2.5 gal air tank where the spare tire used to beimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

@tacomgee Are you gonna put a skid or something under the tank? Just to prevent road debris from an accidental punture or something? Looks good otherwise! I'm pretty much doing the exact same thing in a few weeks with @IGGY !
