I am going to be putting 265/70/17 KO2s on these. I am pretty sure that the 265/65/17 KO2s require a 7.5" to 9.5" depth, and these wheels are 7". So the 265/65/17 ones won't work.

Hopefully someone else will chime in because I don't think that is accurate.

There is a whole thread on these wheels from the last time I did this buy. And I believe 265/70/17 and 265/65/17 fit just fine

If this is the case I can defiantly buy then worry about the tires later.

Edit- I'm liking that red skid plate.

I'm going 265/70R17 KO2. They end up being just a touch smaller than the 265/75R16 KO2 that I currently have on there. No rubbing. My problem is that I wanted to go this route but was impatient. The C rated 265/70R17 tires weigh 7 or 8 lbs less than the E rated 265/75R16

 you're putting the 265/70/17, and you say the smaller size /65/17 won't fit...

    *definitely

@Old School can you find that thread from the group buy I did on these wheels a while ago to show what tires fit and such? Thanks if you can

Hmmm, I may be missing something, but according to BFGoodrich's site the 265/65/17s are E rated only. Then according to Tire Rack they require a 7.5" to 9.5" width. The 265/70/17 are 7" to 8.5". Just reporting what I am finding. I apologize if I am giving incorrect info.:notsure:

haha I also wa looking in the other thread you posted. Not this one but I didn't see where it said that these will accept both wheels. Post #59 asked about it but I didn't see anyone really answer it. Went to post 126 and he states he is running stock. I guess that answers the question if they fit on both sizes.

Everyone really needs to stop copying my tire and wheel selection, these with the 265/70r17 ko2s which do fit. Jk lol

Guys, please correct me if I am wrong on this, cause this will also change my plans for tires as well, but I just don't want anyone to spend money and then realize something won't work.

Now this is specific to BFGOODRICH KO2s. I am not saying all 265/65/17s won't work (hell there are plenty of them out there that will work), just the KO2s that @Edgeplay was asking about.

From what I can find 265/65/17 KO2s are E rated only and require a 7.5" to 9.5" width.
    2016-06-18%2021.39.35_zpsptqotsnx_3d1f75ddd3f151362b95bb5b598f6f04c276ad01.jpg

The 265/70/17 KO2s come in both C and E rating, and the C has a width window of 7" to 8.5".
    2016-06-18%2021.38.43_zpszgqwu9jo_6d178590c60bbfc76ccb1ace4a4a9ab6f221d732.jpg

Yes, I know the /70/17s are bigger than the /65/17s, but from the specs I am seeing the smaller tire will not fit on these 17" x 7" wheels.

As I said, I am not trying to start an argument or anything, I am just trying to help out if I can. I just don't want someone wasting money. If there are 265/65/17 BFG KO2s that will work with 7" wide wheels, please let me know! Please prove me wrong, cause I would prefer to get the /65/17s over the /70/17s I am planning on getting!
