How's does the not cutting out to valence grille affect the lighting that much at night?

Front bilstein 5100 with OME 884 w/trim pack, 17" fuel trophy wheels wrapped with 32" toyot open country m/t, bakflip fibermax tonneau cover, Avec 30" led light bar behind lower grille, marathon seat covers in max 5 camo pattern, trimmed front and rear mud flaps, more to come.
Not much really at all. I can drive down a back road at night with my headlights of with just the light bar and can see as well if not a little better than with headlights and fogs on. But then again I haven't been in a Tacoma with the valence cut out either so I can't really compare the two but if I had to guess not much if not any light is blocked by the valence because I mounted the light bar so the casing is almost flush with a little room for adjustment and none of the light is covered. I would imagine though that some of the flood (outer lights) get cut off a tad.

Thanks for the info guys, think I might do this! Don't want to cut anything is I don't have to, plus I think it'll be easier mounting.

How do you actually install these things?
Do you just plug the light into the circuit box and then just add a switch to the cab? Plug and play?

Will a light bar that is 32" but has a total length of 34.5" (with brackets) fit in there?

I think so. I just put a "32" in mine just now...
    There's room on either side..

I am trying to find a full write up on mounting and running wires for a 32" light bar behind the lower grill. Does anyone know where I could find it? I have searched and can not seem to find one. I am about to order one that comes with 2, 4 inch pods. As well as the 32 inch light bar I think the total is about $90 for everything. Any help would be a great help! Thank you
