I prefer camelbak than the under the seat tool pouch and two water bottles...don't hold enough water if you do long rides. Given full hard tail...should be more than 24lbs if it's a heavy frame.

It's around 30 lbs. Not super light, but not bad for a fat bike.

No offense, but wow... that's heavy. didn't realize fat tires were that heavy and that frame must be heavy too....figured be lighter with no suspension. You got all mountain bike weight range. It's a great work out and if you don't go super steep high climbs...won't matter.

4" tires and tubes are heavy. The funny thing is that it is lighter than my mtn bike. My trek marlin is in the upper 30's. It is an all aluminum frame. Without wheels and tires it is around 18 lbs.

Yeah man! Go 1x. The 32t chainring should cover most of the terrain. If your looking to upgrade your drivetrain, an entire 1x11 setup can make the bike feel like new.

If you haven't tried 1x on an old frame you have to be careful about your suggesting unless you tried it. My bike frame is 135mm rear end and the rear derailleur wouldn't allow the full range shifting...couldn't get down to the smallest cog. I had to braze on an aluminum spacer to the rear hanger so I could make it like 142mm frame bike. I do have the XX1 set up..so talking from experience. Also unless you got really big legs...32t won't cut in most parts of SoCal. My coworkers rides all the time and loves strava and he doesn't run 32t. Having said that...the new 1X drivetrain with the much larger cog to allow for the use of 32t. Standard 32t XX1 is good for street and low grade climbs... it's a bear to climb the local mountains here with it. 10-42 cassette is not enough...what I have...new Ethirteen 9-44 looks pretty impressive...haven't tried it yet.

Nice all mountain...looks real clean with the internal routing. What's that behind the crankset seems to be some box but can't make out the details...some new/weird kind of pivot system? My bike has all external routing... yours look good!

Yes its called switch infinity. Its yeti's new pivot in the travel. Its really just two pistons that switches directions as the suspension moves through the travel. It helps with anti-squat when peddling but also makes the suspension feel bottomless. The switch infinity bikes have been selling very well at the shop I work at. Pretty cool feature

I go to Appalachian State in Boone, NC. But during the summer I live back at my parents in Nashville, TN and work a summer job at Moab Bike shop in Franklin, TN.

Yup, 1600 miles one way and about 24 hours of driving straight. Not counting the time difference.

Thanks man, you've got yourself a gorgeous Yeti.

image.jpg image.jpg I purchased a Cannondale FSi 3 Carbon a couple months ago. Since moving to Atlanta from Utah, I have been meaning to get back into mountain biking and so glad I did.

Rocky knob is awesome. Great xc riding and pretty fun gravity stuff. Nothing crazy steep but fun jumps and drops. Great park especially for being so close to campus
