Alot of debris... shocked he's the only one with damage from it...

 

Just saying it "could" have been a catalyst for terminal engine failure if temps were ran high before he got said debris off. I think the first 3-4 cars were all running hot for several laps from debris at start of race. Sucks for Kyle though, he's a much better driver than what results have shown the last 4 races.

 

Well his car wasn't the only to catch fire today. Jeffrey Earnhardt's car caught fire

 

Things I learned today:

Michigan is just boring no matter the aero package

Keselowski screwed Himself on restarts with the fastest car two weeks in a row

Chase is as advertised, getting better each week

Danica and Trevor bayne continue to piss drivers off

I continue to hate FS1 coverage

Chevy and Ford are making ground on Toyota

Racing is still better this year than the last 10

 

Not a NASCAR fan at all, huge cyclist though. Saw a tweet of Landon Cassil's knee after his post-race bike crash in Irish Hills. That guy has real biker legs. Seems like an unlikely way to relax after a race, swapping nomex for spandex, but I would guess those drivers need to be in good condition to survive those forces.

Nah just one, Keselowski finished behind Logano. Although of the ones I did pick, those three were the fastest of their manufacturers. Shame Michigan is what it is since was replaced, the package was definitely better though.

 

Yep you're right, my bad, I always get Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski mixed up because they both run Ford`s. Yes I know their cars look nothing alike but for whatever reason Ive gotten them mixed up forever.

 

Id like it better if Jeff Gordon was off air. I hate his announcing.

 

All I know is that both the #2 and #22 are in the chase now. Which is good for me. (I work for Penske racing).

Veteran NASCAR driver Mike Wallace, brother of NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace and driver/race analyst Kenny Wallace, is recovering from a brutal beating Friday night, according to several media reports.

Wallace’s daughter, Lindsay, also was reportedly injured.

Mike Wallace reportedly was attacked, being punched and kicked in a parking lot by three men after he, his wife, his daughter and her husband left a Rascal Flatts concert Friday night at the PNC Pavilion in Charlotte.

Wallace, 57, reportedly was knocked unconscious, while Lindsay Wallace Van Wingerden also was treated for unspecified injuries after trying to cover her father’s body in an effort to protect him from further injuries.

Here’s part of a post Mike Wallace put on his Facebook page after being treated at a hospital:

I normally would not post personal affairs but this is to help and give advice to our friends, do not ever talk to a group of now what appeared to be drunk or drugged up young adult men or women when your trying to get in your car to leave the unguarded PNC amphitheater in Charlotte, NC parking lot after a good Rascal Flatts concert. This is what I looked like after I was knocked out and crap beat out of me. The ambulance driver took this picture we were just supposed to gave a fun night. I want to thank my family and friends for helping protect me from a worse beating as I layed unconscious on the ground. What’s worse is three of guys that beat my family up were arrested and out of jail before we got out of the hospital.

 

Wonder why he was beat. Sounds ridiculous, he wasn't stole from, did they just beat him for no reason?

 

Doesn't everyone at a Rascal Flatts concert deserve a beat down?

 

The fact they assaulted his daughter and all got out on bail with misdemeanor charges is unreal.

 

Put them on a dirt track with smoke for punishment
