It's all good, he ran me trough this trail with some others on a big get together. This was my first serious rock trail for me.
If you do go, have him run you upward through the goal post.

    He'll be waiting for ya.

@HAVING FUN I've stood at the goal posts but didn't run it. How was the way up?

This was my first rock run. Me and Jon went on it before others showed up. Going down, was some 2 and 3 wheel titter totter moments.
Then turned around and he just when straight up. Me, open/open, got to the big boulder before the trees, and couldn't get it at first, was trying to ease my way into it with throttle LOL.
All I heard from him was, SKINNY PEDDLE, No problem then.

Going down to him, his words(butt puckering experience), Me no problem I drive a big rig off road and off camber.

How about mountain biking Downieveille the last weekend in July? We could camp at gold lakes and ride into town and get some non riders to shuttle us back to camp?

Speaking of riding I've been riding Soquel Demonstration forest about once a week, usually Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I arrive at the trail head around 4:15-4:30 if anyone wants to join me. I typically ride Braille Trail but I'll ride Flow or Sawpit from time to time as well. If I'm short on time I'll do Coral. Braille loop usually takes me about 1:45 to 2 hours so I'm not particularly fast.

Went up to Gold Lake yesterday with the fam and @CalTacoma09.

    It... kinda... sucked.

53 degrees and cloudy when we got there. Then the rain started after we went to bed. Woke up in a puddle, nothing was dry. At least I got to take the little guy fishing!

Snow visible on the high peaks around the lake, trail was mostly dry yesterday. Lots of new puddles and streams today. Seemed a bit rockier and more eroded than I remember last year. Only pics I got are of the little dude hiking and biking. I'll post those in a bit :)
