Help! LED Relay for DRL lights

Hey guys so I've been searching non stop and I couldn't come up with something. currently stuck sitting in my garage trying to figure out which relay is associated with DRL light and turn signals.

I bought a relay to instal to solve the hyper flash issue/blown fuses but I can't figure out which relay is supposed to be replaced. Any help?

You have to remove the lower dash and then a couple screws to be able to pull the fuse box down a bit. The relay is behind the fuse box.

 

I have it pulled apart but Im still not sure, any references? All I have is a relay, not a relay harness

I found mine, on the back of the fuse panel, what I did when I had the fuse panel unbolted I turned the blinker on and found it that way

 

I think what you are looking for is called the T11 Turn Signal Flasher. It is not just a relay.

The DRL is controlled by the Body ECU that sends a signal to the flasher to turn on the DRL Lights.

 

Yeah the guy at Oreilly's told me I could just use a relay and it would be much easier, he ever said he did it on his car which is probably a 1980 civic. HA! they were out of the resistors. After debating for 5 minutes I took his word. Come to find out after 3 hours of searching the net I needed a relay harness/flasher relay so I went back to an Oreilly's that had resistors in stock, made the switch, and it took me all of 15 minutes to install the resistors.

Did it work? No hyper flash

 

Yes it worked, no hyper flash and more importantly the fuse for my DRL's doesn't blow from having the LED's in.

 

So what exactly did you replace or did? Been trying to solve this issue for the longest

 

If you go to Oreilly's, auto zone, or Amazon you can buy load equalizers (resistors) to resolve the hyper flash issue. The LED's pull less power so the vehicle thinks the bulb is out, which is why hyper flash occurs. All you have to do is install 1 resistor by tapping into the wiring harness associated with the bulb you change. I did the blinkers in my tails last night, so I used 2 resistors total.

The resistor must be set up in a parallel circuit meaning you must splice into the power and the ground wire. Ill post pics later today, I get off work at 1.

 

Ah, nvm. Yeah I know about the resistors. I thought you had replaced the flasher. I re read everything. Haha my bad. In a tundra, you can actually replace the flasher. Thanks
