What's yalls preference on stripped uppers? Are they all pretty similar, just stick with a reputable brand and good to go? I've built a few lowers but always went with complete upper. Changing it up this time. Looked around some last night and saw Andersons for 50ish all the way up to 130ish for bcm and rainier. I'm not looking for billet.

I just went with aero precision.
They were on sale, they fit my lowers pretty well, and my research shows that like most lowers they are made by the same companies and just have different names on them.

I haven't built them yet (I gave one to my sister) so I can't comment on how well they assemble.

Found the info that I needed on the Tavor. Silly piece of plastic left in a slot from the factory.
    Carry on.

If laws could prevent crime we'd have no crime because we have lots of laws.

10,000 to 15,000 people in the mexican army desert every year, most take their M16s with them. With our porous border with mexico there's a supply of real assault rifles for criminals and terrorists that no law restricting the constitutional rights of honest Americans will have any effect on.

Someone under investigation by the FBI should not be allowed to run for president, it's only common sense.

Lets keep Politics out of here before anyone gets banned or the thread locked. Plenty of other places to talk about them :)

Ive used different uppers and never noticed a real difference between them. Use PSA "blems" and Rainier Arms uppers. No difference the two brands. I do go for RA or Mega just to support honest WA state companies. The other WA state company most people like I refuse to buy from.

I thought about going to Rainier because I plan to run their barrel but they were 115-120. I've already got my Andersen lower built and the Andersen uppers were 55-60 so was leaning that way just wanted to double check. I plan to run a pretty pricey barrel so trying to save where I can.

Im sure you will be fine with the Anderson. I have no experience with them but ive heard good things about them. You just have to remember for the forged stuff, theres only a handful of forging places. So a lot of forged uppers actually come from the same place and just get logos added. Billet stuff is a whole nother story though

Little behind on responding to this, but I think the specwar is a fine piece. I went with Gemtech because they had a good rep and got a good deal on all of them. Silencerco is a big name so they should have a good customer service rep.

This. Andersens are fine. Get a quality barrel and BCG - that's where the quality differences start to matter more.

Hey guys, planning a build in a year or so and looking at some parts.
Anyone here have experience with a Bravo company KMR and a Fortis Rev 2?
Also anyone ever use a Blitz Krieg upper? They sell an 18" build upper with key mod free float that Im looking at.

I'm going to order everything for the lower at once. I haven't decided on what I want for an upper yet but I've got time and plenty of research to do
