3rd Hybrid bumper - who makes it?

haha, it will be a little while down the road, but watch for forum discounts or other specials coming up soon. We would like to try to get parts cut, bent and put into stock before we start up a GB.

 

OK so FINE maybe I jumped the gun and was over critical of having to remove the aluminum bumper reinforcement lol. I do really like this bumper however I don't like some of the features. C4, will there be an option for this bumper without the winch plate, and without the hoop? I'd love it as just the smooth steel bumper with the d ring mounts, nice and simple, nothing more. I'd really only be using it to get rid of the Tacoma "double chin" up front which i'm not a fan of.

 

We do already offer the bumper without the hoop. Also we have had quite a few people ask about a non-winch version like you were describing, so we will most likely offer that option soon.

 

I saw the option for the hoop delete and light bar delete but nothing for the winch delete as of now. I'll check back from time to time!

Thank you, and we enjoy being as active as possible so that we can answer questions abut our products.
We will eventually offer a GB, but not for a little while yet. We are still processing orders from a large rock slider GB on the T4R.org forum. We need to get caught up with that and get a few products put back into stock before starting any more GB's. Right now would be too early to start a sign up list.

Options are good

 

Yea, these are a have changer cost wise.

I was pretty set on a PB plate bumper, but these might do well. Only concern would be impacts to the plastic corners .


What's the weight like on one of these guys

You are obviously not a business owner, or understand the cost of doing business. I can promise you, no one is getting rich selling 600 dollar bumpers.

 

Just out of curiosity. How much weight can the hoops and the winch support handle?

 

Looking at $1000 said and done. It's a great looking bumper but not worth that kind of cash to me. I come from the jeep world, $1000 gets you a complete replacement winch bumper which this is not.

 

would be cool if C4 (or anyone) could post a video of an install to show how easy/hard it is to do.
