The wife authorized an OME lift. The ride is so much better than the worn-out original parts.

I've still yet to see another Timberland Mica RCLB besides mine.

I've been seeing all these awesome pics of people's Tacos and I barely have any pics of my truck. If it wasn't for school and work, I would be out riding everywhere all day

ERMB: I have a quick question about a previous forum i read regarding you painting your bed cap. My question is, how close to a perfect match do you think the timberland mica paint that you found is to whats on your truck? The only reason im curious is because i also have a Timberland mica tacoma and have had some trouble finding a perfect match. Any input would be greatly appreciated, and btw, that prior thread you posted about painting with quality results was a great write up!

    Thanks,
    Robert

Hey Rob, I must say the color I got was dead on. http://www.automotivetouchup.com was where I got mine from only thing to remember is to continually shake the can so that the Metallics don't settle on you as your spraying. I get pretty stoked every time I look at the cap I painted and think about how perfectly it matches. Only thing it could have used which I could still do is another couple coats of clear which would make it a perfect match. I put on three coats of clear but one or two more and it would have made it even better.

Thanks man! That's great news since I got the same primer filler, the paint from the site listed on your other thread, and the clear coat. Thanks again for the help sir.

I love the color of this truck. Sadly I am fighting some oxidation on the roof but new paint is right around the corner. image.jpg

Just doing a little patrolling along the Arizona southern border...... It does not look very secure. I don't think this would stop anyone from entering or exiting.BorderPatrol.jpg

Here's a few from a recent wheeling trip in NH. Sorry no action shots, only chance I got to take pics was when we'd stop to let the group catch up. It was a big outing with 14 trucks, and was a he'll of a time.:D

The day I bought her 1/17/2015

The day she got hurt 4/10/2015, less than 3 months on the road.
A semi rolled over at the base of an overpass, cars stopping quickly coming over the crest of the overpass started a chain reaction of skidding and sliding into the median of the overpass to avoid collisions. Sadly I ended up at the very top of the overpass with a concrete wall on my left side and cars on my right.
The Ford Ranger I rear ended (luckily) rolled his rear bumper up under his bed, causing his truck to lift, missing my frame nearly completely, but causing well over $12K in damages and took 2 months to repair. No engine, Frame, or suspension damage.
