Just had my suspension replaced with Icons stage 2 kit on Tuesday and everything was great for a day. Tonight the front end started creaking and squeaking a ton at low speeds. Just climbing in and out of the car sounded like an old rusted farm truck. Has anyone else had any similar issues? My set up is pretty mellow. Didn't lift the front a lot. Only about an inch of lift and the icon AAL in the rear with their shocks. Stock UCA's. Rear seems quiet. Just both front shocks.

Unfortunately heading out of town for work for a few days so can't take it into the shop until this weekend or Monday.

I just installed the Icon Stage 2 kit on my 2016 Tacoma about two days ago. Same set up as yours. It's also squeaking/creaking at low speeds and it's driving me crazy. Not sure what it is or how to fix it. Let me know what they say when you take it to the shop.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Mine didn't do that when I put it on but it just may need some time to settle in? You should call Icon on Monday and talk to them, they have fantastic customer service.

I ended up spraying some triflo Teflon lube onto the heims. That did the trick. I hear a slight creak after off-roading a few weeks ago but cleaned everything up and sprayed some triflo again and all is good and quiet. Go pick up a can from a bike shop.

Stage 2 kit doesn't have heims.

What type of joint is the connection to the lower shock mount? When I spoke with icon that's what they recommended. Who knows may have also just been the settling over time but the triflo silenced it immediately.

Oh I thought you were referring to the upper arms being the billet + heim joint arms.

Did you check to make sure they installed the swaybar relocation brackets? And that the lower mount bushings are on the correct side. There is a short side and a long side.

It sounds like the coil is rubbing on the swaybar.

You raise a fantastic point that isn't brought up enough around these parts: performance aftermarket parts aren't designed to be as quiet or ride as smooth on road as factory parts are. OEM is designed to be comfy while your wife drives to the grocery store, a performance shock like Icon is designed for big hits to the suspension.

Tried looking for a bike shop near me to get some Tri-Flow, but they were all closed. Will WD-40 work?

It will but id be apprehensive since it swells seals, if you have a white lithium grease that would work too.

Got it. I'm gonna hit up the nearest Auto-Zone right now for some white lithium grease. Hope it works.

Bought the lithium grease and it's still squeaking. Good thing is that I've narrowed the squeaking down to the stock upper control arm bushings. Not sure what to do now. Going to have to take it in to get checked. Sucks

Be prepared for them to say because you lifted it that voids any issues with the UCA bushings squeaking/needing replaced. I would just upgrade them anyways. Good luck. Reason this truck will be stock for me, been there done that with 2 other tacomas.

Called Icon this morning and told them about my squeaking problem, asking for help and advice. All that I was told was too use WD-40 on the bushings and if that didn't work, to google the problem. Don't think WD-40 would be the wise choice to use on the bushings. Not what I expected from Icon as far as customer service. A little disappointed.
