I always buy "dark stonewash" Levi's 550s, definitely reasonably priced at ~$40/pair, so that might be why it has never happened to me.

Yeah Me too. I'm right up there so I'm hoping they settle down. That's when I get them still waiting and hoping they'll be OK. Let you know how much room I end up with..

I'm 6' 1" and these did raise my ride height at the most an inch, but I don't even think it's that much. It seems like a lot more than it really is just because you get used to it sitting one way, then suddenly it's different and seems so drastic. I'm no where near hitting my head and probably have a good 3" or more. I keep my seat all the way back and leaned back a lot as well. Even if I sit straight up, my head doesn't touch, so unless you have a really long torso and/or freaky neck length, I really don't think it'll be a problem.

I believe mine were on order when you posted yours but I give you credit for having good taste .

It's kind of surprising I don't see more color combos here. I think the blue compliments the dash colors, and I'm not the biggest fan of all black interiors so I wanted to do something different. I'm guessing it's to late for me to copy your head rest design .
I'm looking at adding some color to the dash and have the inserts but I'm not sure I like the color match at this point. Maybe wrap something later on.

I'll be going black / dark gray when I order mine. Other things I want to do first but this is certainly on the list.

I did thisimage.jpgIt's more of a match to the glovebox inserts than BBP. But it ties in well with the Clazzios and it has a fine metallic flake in it. There is a post I did on this that has like five pics. It turned out pretty good. I think.

Yes Clazzios. Perf leather insert, blue stitching and embroidered. Their current price is close to $600. When I got them months ago there was a deal for TW members. Go to Clazzios site and pick what you want and give them a call and tell them you are a TW member. I think at the time I paid $540.

How does something that's not an inch thick raise ride height an inch?

It might just be perception, but they seem to firm up the seat a little so your ass may not be sinking in as much. Sort of like tightening the sides. It's not a problem for me.
I think they will give a little over time, they just need to break in.

seat covers installed. Looking good. Skipped the headrest for now as I am planing some custom embroidery and haven't decided on final design. a friend was convinced they were factory leather. Had to explain that looks can be deceiving.

Ran into an issue with one of the wires at the back of the front seat. Had to cut a hole, disconnect the wire and feed it through.

Maybe he is wearing platform shoes or a blow out hair style. Yeah that'll do it.

No these covers fit over the original cloth. Katzkins are the brand that replaces the cloth. The only thing you remove is the lower rear seat back that tucks under the seat.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
No the factory cloth stays on. Covers go straight over the seats. Hints the name "seat covers"? I'm pretty sure in the #878 posts before it's been covered more then one time.
