The ATO bumper front plate is welded on which is a pain in the ass if u have to do anything to the winch or install. To make service easier for future we ground off the welds to make the plate removable.IMG_20160616_112216_01.jpg
Then we made these tabs to mount the plate too.
    IMG_20160616_112213_01.jpg
Next we countersunk the plate and mounted it back up.
    IMG_20160616_112237_01.jpg
We also relocated my winch control plug and installed a airline connection for easy access

So I got a spare for now. But once installed it makes the backup camera useless
    IMG_20160610_140017_01.jpg IMG_20160610_135958_01.jpgIMG_20160610_135957_01.jpg
So we took apart the tailgate and removed the camera, closed up the existing hole, and relocated it.
    IMG_20160616_112328_01.jpg IMG_20160616_112254_01.jpg
Now it's usable again. We also made some protection for it, notice the Box around it

Adding bump stops and limit straps to keep me from extending to far and breaking shit.

Installing the piece of s*** Kings rear shocks with reservoirs. Had to start by cutting off the old upper shock mount. These are longer so we are going to need to cut into the bed.

By switching the lowers we gained another 1.5" of drop in the rear.

Installed front and rear POS Kings bump stops just to keep everything matching not because I like their product personally you could never pay me to run Kings ever again.
We also install limit straps front and rear.IMG_20160616_112333_01.jpg IMG_20160610_135859_01.jpg IMG_20160616_112218_01.jpg IMG_20160616_112210_01.jpg

Now you are pretty much caught up. I went to rowher flats two nights ago to test it all out. It was a very big difference the front coilovers are so much better and with the 16 inch eibach Springs. They are flexing very nicely the rears were already fantastic thanks to the Deaver leaf springs and the POS Kings. We just gained drop and preload from the lower eyes.
We just need axles now which we are working 2 start making if we can get enough people together that wouldn't need the product. Either way I'm getting customs axles made. We are also working to make heavy duty CV as well.

Back on topic, we went to test it out. Shortly into the trail I stopped because I saw some hill climbs off to the right. I am new to rowher Flats so I asked my friend if these are challenging. He replied the three on the right are easy but the one on the left will break you. I rolled my eyes at my friend and said come on I just spent all this money and you think it's going to break me? He said out of all my vehicles I've only made it up in three of them. I asked my fiance to get out of the rig so I could try this. It was very steep so if something happened I didn't want her in there. So I locked up my front and rear and proceeded to crawl up the hill. It was not challenging at all until the very top where there was a vertical rock face and a divot. the two combined make it difficult. Anyway when I got to this point I would get almost up the rock face but would slide off to one side or the other I did my best to baby put on one of my attempts I got some wheel hop in the front and blew my front axle apart

Limped it home. Went to junkyard and found a front end for 560$ because I pretty much broke every single part. So we just bought a brand new bearing and seal to go with my used axle tube, axle and all the other parts. the differential was not damaged, just from the axle tube over.

Your truck is looking real good. For everyone out there who says DB's can't wheel and are just for the mall haven't seen your truck yet. What coil spring rate are your Eibachs? What caused your front axle to blow apart like that? I've never heard of anyone doing that before.

Wheel hop blew my axle apart. 35s locked out and wheel hop will break you. I will ask my fabricator about the coilovers springs

That's a bummer hearing that. I'm saving up for a build very similar to yours and plan on hitting the trails and occasionally crawling a few rocks. Wheel hoping is going to happen a lot I'd imagine when rock crawling or going up steep grades. Sounds like SAS is a must then for any steep trails.
Those are pretty stiff springs. But you do have a heavy bumper and a winch which helps. How does your ride feel on and off road? Do you wish your coils were a bit softer?

they are soft off-road. On road they are great not stiff at all. Honestly we may go to a 800lb. But I am going to break these in first.
