Well after driving back from Eagle, it's idling fine now.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact I'm overdue to clean my intake and elevation. MAF, throttle body, etc. Also the IAC has never been cleaned.

Even though Eagle is only at 6600' I'm wondering if that would make the computer idle higher? Although theoretically wouldn't higher elevation = less oxygen = less fuel trim = less idle?

It's a pretty simple job, pull the ash tray, ash tray track, then pull the center dash plastic, cut and reinstall.

    Here's a good link
    http://www.mikewood.org/truck-dash.asp

    Edit
Mine is held in by friction but some use double sided tape or velcro

Check out @cynicalrider build...he went as far as melting the air duct behind it to get it completely flush. There's more than one way to mount it there. I had it there just by friction with a 90° elbow and thought it was in there good enough.

Hey man, I just installed the Pro 510 XL last week. I'm not sure what the difference is between the 510 and 520, but the install was super easy. I just took out the main dash cover and ash tray. There's kind of a plastic cage around where the ash tray mounts, so all you need to do is cut out the back of the cage to make room for the coax and power cables. As far as mounting the radio, I didn't need to use any hardware because it's a snug fit. This is how mine turned out, if you want a more flush fit, you can get an elbow adapter that will reduce the coax plug's space necessities.

    Stuff. Also things.
You'll be fine! I installed mine recently and it was super straightforward. Just be ready to cut/grind/bend the dust shields. I used three lug nuts to cinch down the rotor and then checked and rechecked for dust shield contact. I also did the 'bedding in' process for the new pads and rotors, which was interesting, but maybe not necessary. Anyway, take your time, good luck, and post up pics of the finished product!

Why do you need to take the OE lines off? Yes, they work.
