Positive. Seated on the lowest ring. At least the L side is. One of the first things I looked at.

Yeah, my AC has the CBI hitch, pelfrey skids and Pelfrey bolt on sliders. My winch doesn't always live up front, so it's probably lighter than your DC. Overall, my truck rides "close" to GVWR for daily driving.

Thanks for your input, but sorry to hear about the carnage so far from home.

No problem! If anything, I can now advise people to skip the spacer w/ 887's and have proof as to why.

Well, if it turns out to be more than just the spacer causing the issue, I'll update... May be a while though. It's been expensive so far.. and it all started apparently with an unneeded 10 dollar part. The truck is a secondary vehicle so it may have to sit for a while.

I want to temporarily put a spacer in my passenger side. 5100s @ 1.75 on stock coils. I'll take that spacer :D

I have the 886 coils and a 1/4 spacer on both sides of my 06. I just did a 1500 mile trip a week after getting it all installed no issues at all. My CV angles are still fairly good because the PO installed a dif drop kit when he installed the previous lift.

From what I understand 886 with a 1/4 spacer on both sides is about the same as 887s on both sides with no spacers, 886 is for the extra weight. My only issue with the dif drop kit is modifying the skid. I'd rather not install if not necessary. I'll probably first remove the L side spacer then jack up the front end and slide the boot down to see if the cv is coming out too far.

I hope it's not a 887 issue. I have the same set up in my garage waiting to be installed. Once they do my leaf spring recall. Sub

I did a double take on your pic. That shock doesn't even look close to what my 5100 looks like. Mine are silver color. Went to the garage to make sure and took this pic of my 5100, driver's side:

That blows man. Had a friend that was shredding CV joints on his old Raider. Turned out he had dented the the steering stopper into the LCA which allowed him to turn to far for the CV to handle.

WOW hate see what happened to your truck danbow. I installed 887's with drives side spacer on my 2014 Sport back in March and have put 6K miles on my truck since and have had no problems even after driving some petty gnarly stuff in Utah & Arizona. No Diff Drop. I got a full 3" of lift after the 887's settled and the ride is great.

When you wheel hard, things can break.
