    I have no clue! I did shorten the throttle cable a half inch.... but it seems to be governed.

    Take the little flap off over the clutch. It catches the air and pushes the throttle back.

    That's how I've seen them previously. I don't have a unit here to look at though.

    Well, I just fixed the overhead compass again. First real heat and the damn solder split. I think I got all four corners tacked now so it should be good.


    Does anyone know who replaced that unit with the scan gauge? I searched but could find the one I was looking for.

    Put some extra solder on each tab, then reflow all of them nicely. I did that the second time I fixed mine, and that was years ago and it works fine now. Sits out in the summer heat in the driveway year round, too.

    Not only did mine crap out over the weekend, but I had 2 dash cams (one sat, one Sun) literally melt off the windshield! The screw that goes into the plastic housing must have gotten so hot, the plastic softened, and the dash cam weight let it pull right off the magnet which is still holding on the windshield!
