Check all the uniballs, tie rods, balljoints if it has them (don't think 2ng gen burgs do), wheel bearings, steering rack. Are your can tabs bent?

 

I've heard its pretty easy to get 4* caster with bushings, but those were on +2 kits TC kits.. Is it that different? Ordering the TC +2 race kit next month

 

What's the print out of the specs from the alignment shop?

I have the OEM Axle but I have 2" BORA Spacers to make the rear a bit wider.

Every truck may have slight differences. Becareful using someone elses numbers. The hanger is going to endup roughly a couple 3-4" more forward than the stock one. Take the leafs apart to the main leaf cycle it and bump it and center the axle in the wheel well should be close to stock. This way is safe to make sure the driveshaft plunges good and nothing hits.

 

Take some string, measure from the leaf center pin to the center of the front mounting bolt. Do this to both sets of leaf springs, this will show you the difference in length needed to mount the new spring hanger. What you are trying to accomplish is having the tire still bump-out at the same spot as stock in the wheel-well. This is just going to be a base to start from, not an exact spot, you might cycle it and find and inch forwards or backward will center the wheel best in the wheel well. Do what works, it's not rocket appliance.. You can then measure from the spring hanger to find the mounting point for your shackles, or mount the leafs and see where they land if you know how to use that method. You need to tac everything up and cycle it.

I will be a dick and say what everyone is thinking, If you need more directions than that you shouldn't be attempting this.

 

okay i just called TC and they told me how they do it. i didnt realize there was more to it than just moving stuff forward and tacking it in
