Also.... anyone else on the theory train that Sansa is pregnant with Ramsey's kid?

 

Haven't heard of it...I would say no...but then I again this show is really bad at giving time lines. How long has it been since Sansa escaped? 2 weeks, 2 months? Theon has had enough time to get to the iron islands and then sail to Mereen. If it were true she would have started showing signs of it but like I said, who knows how long it has been...

Heard the Sansa preggers theory before but not a big fan of it personally.

It would realistically take months for Theon to get back to the iron islands and then sail all the way to essos. The show is pretty fluid on timelines but this is one that I think makes the Ramsay Sansa baby idea pretty inconceivable. Even if they are giving future Theon and past Sansa events she would have started to show by the time that the battle rolled around.

 

Exactly - I thought maybe this stuff isn't happening at the same time but that could be any events in the show. I just assume it is all happening around the same time since obviously at some point all the stories are going to converge when the white walkers finally come a knocking

 

Ramsay's demise was especially brutal and very personal. I was surprised but not if that makes any sense.

 

I knew he was a goner...but by his own dogs?! That's got to be one of the worst ways to go.

 

In the books Sansa's storyline is much different than the show version so I think would be hard to make her preggers in one and not the other

 

Got to thinking about Daenerys and the current situation with the Iron born after the ep. Here is what I would do, but don't expect it to play out this way...

She knows Asha/Theon's uncle is building ships and is on the way to try and 'give her his cock' and his ships. She should have the current fleet sail around the island to hide and wait until Euron shows up with his fleet. I'm pretty sure he has no clue that they sailed to her when the flee'd him earlier. Once he gets there and comes up to give her his offer Theon and Asha can pop out and kill him. Daenerys and her dragons can deal with the rest of his followers that won't pledge allegiance to Asha. Then Daenerys would have even more ships. She already expressed some concern with the number she currently has. Then Asha/Theon and go back to the Iron Islands and rule as Daenerys laid out in their original agreement while she sails to Westeros to lay claim to the Iron Throne.

but I guess it would be pretty awesome to see a battle at sea if they head that way and meet Euron somewhere in route...

 

Maybe...but I think the same can be said about Rickon. I haven't read the books, but I read an article this morning about how in the books he wasn't with the Umbers and was probably pretty far out of Ramsey's reach so that storyline will likely play out differently in the book...

 

Got my dad the books for Fathers Day. I need him to finish one so I can start reading it

 

There's been a lot of chatter about the Zigzag, but you also have to understand this kid has been held prisoner for many months in the worst conditions. His mind was probably fucked with constantly and to see his brother coming for him and have a glimmer of hope as he was running, he wasn't in the right state of mind to be a strategic frogger on the battlefield. . He's a kid, running like a kid would scared shitless.

This is by far and away my favorite episode of all seasons. The battle scenes with Jon were epic and hard to believe this is TV and not a full blown movie. It was sad to see Rickon and Wun Wun die, but the revenge on Ramsey at the end was fucking awesome. GoT doesn't usually give the audience exactly what they want, but they sure did this time and the execution was perfect.

Extended episode next week for the finale. It's going to be awesome. A good Youtube weekly review is Emergency Awesome. He covers each episode in detail and also has some good backstory videos.

 

Yeah in the books Rickon is off on an island in hiding with the wildling lady Osha. I don't mind them changing his plot line though as he is a fairly inconsequential character in both books and show whereas the readers get POV from Sansa so it would be a tough sell to diverge the stories much more than they already have. Many a brick were shat last season with the Sansa / Bolton stuff being so far afield. I don't mind as long as it's done well.

 

Did anyone notice the Tyrion line about Jaime telling him Aerys had hidden wildfire all around King's Landing, but specifically under the Great Sept of Baelor? Pair that with the recent Qyburn line to Cersei about the old rumors being true and I think we are going to get Cersei losing her trial and deciding to blow the city Mad King style. Additionally Bran seeing the wildfire going off had to be a future event in his vision early on in the season as that has never happened in the history of Westeros.

 

I saw an Instagram post about that, so I could see that happening and there's usually one huge moment at the end of the season.

So Arya is gonna protect Sansa?

 

No idea. I just found the wording interesting. I would love if she did though. I don't really know what Arya's endgame is other than revenge against her list.
