Yeah that's really fucking awesome. Definitely one of the coolest 4runner transfer/window motor mods I've seen so far.

It was definitely not the cheapest solution, but I wanted everything to be as OEM as possible. You have to get the motors for both windows and both switches, plus run 4 extra wires over to the passenger door.

Here is more info on the swap: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/4runner-auto-up-down-windows.380826/

TRD S/C URD Fuel Upgrades 9 aftermarket gauges!!
The mother of all aftermarket gauge installs:IMG_1782.jpg IMG_1783.jpg
    Left to right:
    -Boost
-Transmission temp from the outgoing line to the external cooler
-Drivers side cylinder bank exhaust gas temp
    -Air Fuel wideband ratio
-Passenger side cylinder bank exhaust gas temp
    -Oil Temp*
    -Oil Pressure*
-Water/Coolant temp from the outgoing line to the radiator
    -Voltage
-And because this $26K (in '98) truck didn't come with the $25 clock option (go figure), a clock.

*The 5VZ-FE has THREE ports in the oil galley, two are unused, one is used for the stock oil pressure switch/idiot light. So the install of the oil temp and pressure gauges is a matter of getting the correct metric to NPT adapter (don't ask me for the size right now, but I've got it in my notes somewhere), pulling (unscrewing) the plugs on the ports and putting the sensors in. As close to plug-and-play as you can get and the stock sender is undisturbed so no CEL or problems w/the fuel system cutting off!

The EGT probes are just before the two exhaust tubes come together to the single pipe on the passenger side, so the drivers side reads 100-200 degrees lower than the passenger side except under heavy throttle, but once you get the feel for what's normal for each side, it's easy to spot anything wonky.

Reason for EGT? I've got the gen2 supercharger, and the URD fuel system upgrades. If the computer gets out of spec, or an injector starts to drop off (lean mixture) I'll see the A/F start to read funny (lean), and EGT on the affected side will start to rise. Based on testing Gadget did, these engines seem to make peak power at EGT around 1400 or so, so if I see anything above that I know I've got issues and risk burning a valve, so I can start troubleshooting before a small (i.e. cheap) problem becomes an big/expensive one.

For the transmission temp, with the 33's on (Actually 285/70R17's) it's like towing full time, and with the 3.90 axle that came on this if I don't remember to cut out overdrive I can see temps over 200 on significant hills/warmer weather if I'm not going fast enough to get the torque converter to lock up.

RE water temps, I've found the aftermarket gauge can read anywhere from 160 to 220 and the stock gauge stays right in the middle. The only time I saw the stock gauge rise was going up Mt Rushmore, fully loaded w/3k lbs of u-haul trailer behind me. As I've said, I"ve seen close to 220 on the aftermarket gauge w/no rise in the stock, so that makes me wonder how hot the engine really was...

What are the sizes of the adapter for the metric to NPT for the oil pressure? :) I've been meaning to add an oil pressure gauge. I cannot live without voltage and oil pressure gauges. Both have saved my ass in the past. Great post by the way, thanks for sharing!

@nzbrock very cool idea w/the vent windows.
What type of vent window motors are those? I was inspired by your build but all the minivan motors I've viewed are very bulky and not compact at all? Is part of the motor hidden put of sight behind the panel?

I used the linkage from a 95 dodge caravan. The motor is from Amazon. There is more info in my build thread in my sig.

Has anyone put an overhead sunglasses console in their cab? I feel like there should be a 4Runner console that fits into our trucks and would be a nice place to wire up some switches

Morimoto 2.5" Square HID projectors with Osram Nightbreakers and Square Morimoto Halos.
HID projector retrofit into the 5x7 housings! All parts from The Retrofit Source (used the Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 as they have the shortest front to back dimensions). Also put on the Morimoto XSB Square Halos, which switchback from white to amber with my turn signals but kinda wish I hadn't bothered wiring them as they are 5000K and look... lame... next to my 4200K Osram nightbreaker bulbs. But the halos are nice and bright and pretty nice for setting up a campsite at night as they don't blind all your neighbors/you (as the HIDs would) and hardly have any current draw so you can run them for a long time. They are also nice as DRLs, but still wish they were 4200K not 5000K.

    Before, ugly, low output:
    IMG_20150709_192141.jpg

After!! Bright, beautiful cutoff line, switchback halos.

These headlights are SOOO much better than stock. Driving at night is very enjoyable now :)

Aaaand my ARB bull bumper incandescent to LED blinker upgrade!

Used these: XSLULTRAA LED Ultra Strobe Head Surface Mount (Amber)
    http://austin-electronics.com/products/nova-xslultra-surface-mount-led
    MjUzQUNFMDIxNDAwOUE0QTU3QTY6MTFjNGQ4MDAxYzY4YTlmYWI5OTczZjhjZjQ1YjhkNGQ6Ojo6OjA=.jpg
Though I bought them from http://www.hyper-lights.com/ same price though!

Before, lame incandescents that eventually leak and burn out and rust and are dim and... you get the point...
    IMG_20150514_200459.jpg IMG_20150514_200532.jpg

After: Nice and bright, didn't get hyperflash (I am assuming a previous owner changed out the relay or something...), won't rust!! I only had to use some washers to space these LEDs forward as they are super thin and the incandescent housings are huge.
