I am still really wanting these coilovers....but I have a couple of questions for any 2016 owners.

Did you guys who have them buy the 700 pound coil or the standard coil?

Also, did any of you go with the longer extended travel versions and new UCA's?

    Thanks!

If you're worried about the 600lb coils being too soft you can have them ordered with 650lb coils. 700lb coils are going to be really stiff unless you have a plate bumper, winch and skids to add the additional weight. My thought is if you're going to drop that kind of money on coilovers don't cheap out and get the extended travel with new UCA's. With the new UCA's you won't be limiting yourself with the stock UCAs which allow for far less travel and they'll also help get your alignment back into spec. Thats what I plan on ordering later this year.

I ordered mine last week. I went with 700# coils with bumpers planned from relentless in December 2016.

I did go extended travel which is simple the removal of the internal spacer and total chaos uca's. All expected to arrive Wed.

    Cheers

I went with 600# and extended, I do not plan on changing the front bumber but If I do I will change to 700# springs.

Do the 600# feel too light? I was just wondering since the stock 2016 coils are approximately 710#. I assume the dampening is good enough with the Kings that the 600# is a moot point.

Is this because they seem too soft?

The 600# feel just as, if not a pinch more, stiff than the stock springs (4x4 off road package)

No just because it'll ride low with the added weight.

Thank you for a real world opinion!
I wouldn't want Kings to be any stiffer than OEM Offroad's.

Anyone else with real world opinions?

Ive got standard kings with standard coils. Even without increasing the preload, they ride slightly stiffer than stock. They do however ride smoother in most scenarios. I would not recommend a heavier spring.

Anyone know the spring diameter and length of the OEM offroads and the Kings? Are the number of coils the same?

Purchasing upper control arms is highly recommended. I do not have new UCA's. When the suspension is at full droop, the upper ball joint is extemely close to using its entire range of motion.

I will be purchasing new UCA's and removing the spacer inside the Kings in the near future.

Alright guys, there should be a few more guys out there running kings.

i have no near future plans for bumper and skids so I'm thinking the 650lbs coil spring would be good. I don't want to preload the springs so much to maintain the lift height over time when it sags. Is the 700lbs spring too stiff? The stock OEM coil spring is 712lbs so I don't understand why most people are recommending not to go with 700lbs if you don't have a plate bumper.

I believe it's because it's a larger diameter spring as well as being longer compared to OEM.
