    3/8" stud, so 1/2" hole should work fine i would think.

    All common antenna stud mounts are designed to be mounted in the industry standard half-inch hole (0.5" or 12.5mm). The type of stud mount you choose needs to match the type of coxial cable termination you intend on using. @C4 Fabrication

    just pulled our 07 tacoma into the shop to look at making a bracket. Not sure if it will fit a 3rd gen though.

    2nd gen braket will not fit a 3rd gen. There's a thread on here where someone tried.

    where do you guys plan on running the cable if the bracket mounts the antenna right above the tail light?
