I have an interview this week for a custodial supervisor position at a state park. I really want to nail the interview and purchased some new dress cloths to look sharp.

Here's my question: Should I shave this sweet mustache, or is it ok to keep it? I am willing to shave but really don't want to. Opinions? Experiences?

You must ask yourself a very simple question. Which is more important to you, the new job or your mustache?

Nothing wrong with that stache. As long as it is well groomed (it appears to be) there should be no issues.

Not sure if serious. Really Anthony, I'm just fornicating with ya. Just be yourself, but put your best foot forward. If it's meant to be, it will happen. Use any contacts you have with the folks at the knew job to get you an "in" if possible.

But please, Anthony, especially if the person interviewing you is female, for god's sake don't refer to your mustache as a "womb broom".

I would do a little research as to if they have a grooming policy. I would just make sure it is within whatever their policy says.

If you shave it off for the interview, and they hire you, grow it back if it fits within their employee policies.

Sound advice, I'm afraid. Adios, beloved lip caterpillar :(

At least if I don't get hired I'll know it wasn't because of this goddamn mustache.

It's a state park job? As in "conservation"? When I applied for (and got) a maintenance ranger job, I had, (and still do) a full beard that is well groomed. All of my bosses had sweet staches as well. If you have to ask, just shave it and grow it back, but if the interviewer has a one, that's a missed connection.
