Probably fucked... Ya well I shouldn't need to change them for another year. So it will be a wait but if you want to be the ginie pig I'll send you the link. For the pipe piece. Or you can buy a. 40mm ID bearing and cut the outer ring off and use the center ring (it's also hardened steel) there like 15 bucks on Amazon. But it will only work with. The 4600 shock. Stock strut spring holder is welded.

See I wouldn't mind but I'm level right now with my Readylift lol and no bro stance for me. Now once I graduate college and have a job then I'll be glad to be a ginie pig for a u bolt flip or even a 63 swap.

My OEM struts were on the truck until 64k km's. They were fine up to that point, until i hung that ARB bumper on the truck. Two weeks later, they were toast. Totally done by the additional weight of the bumper.

Bilstein 4600's are holding up wonderfully so far, at 85k km's. Well worth it.

So I lifted my X-runner with the ready lift. I haven't changed my rear shocks cause I don't wheel except for once a year camping trip. I need to change them for sure so my question is what's a good rear shock. I have the add a leaf from the ready lift kit.

Looks good, man. I think it looks better without that body kit on it. Looks like a PreRunner

I need help I bought a leveling kit for my 08 5 lug Tacoma it has the leaf spring for the back in the spacer for the front strut I do not have the Jacks are some of the tools to complete the job myself I took it to an auto shop and they said when they put the strut spacer on it will not allow the control arm to flex I've read dozens of successful installs and watch several videos and have not seen this issue

The devil is in the details. What lift/level kit, what shocks/struts are you using?

I had a shop install mine - thus i'm not first-hand knowledgeable on the install process, other than what i also picked up in various videos and how-to's. However - i do know you need to rotate the front strut/shock 180 degrees while installing, to gain clearance, or it won't fit while installing - the specifics to that, i don't know..

Hopefully someone will assist further on this for you.

Thanks for the input. It is specifically for my year 5 lug. I'm thinking of doing it myself. I need to buy c clamps and I can borrow or buy the jack stands. Has anyone done this install their self? There is an awesome video on YouTube how to do this. Would anyone like to rate the difficulty level or time to take to do this in your driveway.

Here are 235-75-15 Goodyear duratrac, Mt. I love them. Some Mt noise but not bad! And the ride is much better! I don't see a power loss or mpg loss.

Are you taking about the aal or the shocks themselves?

The 4600s will fit just get the ones for a 5 lug a few other members have them already and it's on my list....one day lol.

As for the rear if you have a aal in then your sitting at stock height for a 6 lug which means any shock that fits at stock height will fit us ex 5100s...used trd bilsteins...fox smooth bodies etc
