You said the same thing about the dirty fives. Then less then a week later you were cutting fenders.

We know you are trying to get build thread of the year, but honestly throwing insane amounts of money at it doesn't get you anything but a parking spot next to all the mommy and daddy funded builds.

Not saying it was a regrettable decision for you. Just saying that you "prepping" for a project turns in to you buying everything within a week and doing it.

If you are trying to go at it like @iJonny you are doing it wrong.

Oh and I think $1450 is way too much money. I paid $400 for my front..so unless the rear is worth a grand which it isn't it all that's not that great of a deal. Or it has brand new parts on it.

Stockpiling parts, waiting patiently for the beyond perfect deal all the while asking particular people questions about aspects of their build and LISTENING TO THE ANSWER. Then adding that to your every growing knowledge/research bank to make the most well informed decision. Then maybe 3 months later moving forward finally on the build by adding a single sticker on your back glass.

    Amirite? Or at least close?

Like I said I'm looking and just wanting to gather a few parts here and there when I can. Nothing spectacular is going to happen anytime soon. I'm going to wheel with what I got for a While and then when I have everything up I can do the SAS. Im still learning an ass of shit on the SAS.

Lol, yea im a bit OCD. But that comes with years of my own projects, friends and my brother. I had my spend a shit ton with no thought build. It was my 89 Mustang and it was a money pit. But hey, I bought it when I was a Jr in HS and sold it all cash to buy my 1st taco in 02.

I dont have any stickers on the rig, well except the air tank and the King Resis. Patches, now thats different. Ill take that comment as a compliment though. Cause I do a lot of research and many times over. Youve seen all the builds I follow im sure, you're in a lot of them also.

At least I share what I know and help people make more informed decisions. I feel good when I help out people.

I've learned a shit ton from you as well and I appreciate all the help you gave me. That's one reason why I'm happy with my MT setup until I'm able and ready to do the SAS. Seems like people are blowing up cause I mentioned I'm wanting to SAS my truck one day. Yes I saw a set of F-250 axles that I liked but according to @Sacrifice the price is high and that's why I'm going to pass on them right now. I don't see the big deal in wanting to do it eventually. There are more people out there that are SASing 2012+ tacomas also.

Nothing wrong man, we all just want you to be happy with what you have. I still dont feel you know just how capable that rig you have is.

    Custom 3 link, 40's etc..
Andrew what we are saying is in the past you've said things like this before, like with 35's. Then before you've even wheeled your truck you went and got them.. If I were you I'd just save money and do it right with ruff stuff diamond axles like @bayareataco. Don't be in any hurry, once you get axles then you'll be looking at coil overs, then upgrading stuff on it etc.. Then before you know it you're ready in 2 months.i know you haven't wheeled your truck hard yet because you haven't had skids..

But nah if you wanna mod it do stuff like racks, lights, RTT, etc. Yours is pretty fucking cable, use it, use it a lot and do other mods like I posted. Do the flashy mods that change the appearance if you "have" to mod
