torque front hub question

    I'm changing my front cv axels in a 2000 with auto hubs. what is the torque spec on the 35mm nut that hold the axel to the hub(the one with the cotter pin and castle nut looking thing in front of it)

    I already googled it, all I could find was info on manual locking hubs. I also own the pdf for 1996 service manual, but once agian the info provided is for the manual locking hubs, my truck are the auto locking hubs.

    Correction, 174 ft lbs - if the cotter pin doesn't line up, don't back off of the nut, just tighten until you can slip it in.

    You have the ADD system not Auto Locking Hubs which were one Of Toyota`s dumber ideas

    I also second the 174 Foot pounds of Torque per the 2000 FSM
