It's not a photo, but I got out and shot some aerial video this weekend about 40 minutes from my house.

What Drone are you using? I've got a Inspire 1 with a X5 on it now. I finally sprung for the X5 over the X3 since it allows for different lens to be be used.

Sample video of the Inspire that I made a week or so ago.

Was really the wrong time of day to be shooting but we were busy all day long each day so the only time I could fly was late in the evening.

Really neat lens. Shot at f 2.8 just to blur the background and focus only on the flower in the frame.

I just realized that "photobucket" does a horrible job of removing detail in the pictures. I can zoom in on the cat and he's blurry as hell. The actual picture I can see his individual hairs on his back.

So Flickr is slightly better. Still lost some resolution but not nearly as much.

1st attempt at light painting with the truck.... gotta figure out how to tone down the headlights and what pattern would be best so the truck can actually be shown...

Okay... So I finally got my adapter to mount my filters on and this was the first shot I took with it (don't be too hard on me lol). I realize this is not the ideal shot you would be taking with it since it is made more for landscape photography and not have houses in the foreground. But I was curious as to what the results would be. This is a completely untouched image shot with a 4 stop graduated filter.

Again... PhotoBucket sucks for detail with online images

    Filter%20Test%202_zpsc2bn8yd8_abfc8dd3ea45a0e939b4df153bfb650cbcf59753.jpg

I can see 2 things in this.

1: I need a lot of practice lol

2: I think with the right conditions these filters will be an amazing tool

I'm going to order a 10 stop filter so I can take long exposures during the day time to make traffic / etc. disappear among other things. But now I have something else to learn.

    IMG_1079_zps5jpqr1g3_188041dd74d990edb9e1fa018c2e74b5f1dc086a.jpg

*EDIT* Yes I know I have the camera mounted on the mount backwards. I did this last night when taking pictures of the stars. Mounted the other way the back handle only allows the camera to be tilted up about 45 degrees. This mount has "friction" knobs that allow for smooth video which is why I chose it since that is what I will be doing with the camera "most" of the time.
