What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I just used a flat head and some finess. All said and done they popped back in no problem and look great black.

 

About needing new vin #... Can you?

No I mean in general. Is physically possible to upgrade the radio to in tune plus from the base model version via vin# or some other way?

 

The only way I know is to switch units. I went from Audio Plus to a Premium Audio with Navigation and App Suite Unit.

 

Switch units meaning stereos? Did it work properly?

 

I didn't want to say it, but cheapo may be the issue. The incandescent bulbs in question in my situation were some no-name brand made in some eastern European country...

 

Yes I switched stereos and it works properly. It was plug and play. If you have the base model stereo and want to up grade to audio plus or the premium audio, I'm Sure you would need the navigation antenna.

 

I'll probably just ride 'em out until they burn out. I always fuse my accessories, so at least I won't need to worry about catching my truck on fire. Then I'll upgrade to some Rigids or something.

They only adjusted toe. That's a simple adjustment and they could have zeroed it out.

This link will help you with parts and part #'s that you might or might not need. I'm not sure what model truck your '15 is. This was a easy upgrade for my model Tacoma. I didn't have to source any parts doing the switch. Hope this helps. Thanks goes out to @steveo27
