Interesting, I didnt have to do that. I don't think anyone else did either, wonder why yours is different?

On a side note, I took my truck to an exhaust place and the guy that drove it in the bay was talking to me about my truck and said he was really impressed with the new tacoma and even more impressed with their new factory leather seating. He was blown away when I told him they were seat covers.

Not sure what's different about mine. I noticed the two cut outs for the other wires but not the one in the middle. Decided to cut an X and keep on truckin.

Now that I look at the picture, the final setup doesn't look right to me. But oh well, if you are happy thats all that matters. There shouldn't be wires hanging off the back of the seat, is the second picture what it looks like completely finished?

No. The final picture is before I bring down the back of the back cover and hook it beneath the seat. I cut the hole in the flaps that come through between the seat bottom and the seat back and velcros up into the seat back cover.

I have said it before that Clazzio is best mod bang for the buck. If I knew about these 6 months ago I may still be driving my 2nd gen. My problem free 2nd gen. Always disliked the Camry feel of those seats. We are lucky they make them for Toyota. Many car/truck owners cannot get these. Best $275 I ever spent on a vehicle. Happy with black-black-black.

No the cloth stays on but your headroom decreases by 5" if you remove the cloth you can gain 2".

Did you mean to say 5"? I don't think I lost that much headroom. The covers are thick... Maybe a quarter inch and with my weight on the seat I thought the loss in headroom is negligible. I'm around 6' and don't have an issue.

I had to also. I believe it is for the heated seats if you have that option. It has been discussed before somewhere. Pretty sure in this thread. It's a wire almost dead center in the seat. If you try to put it through the slits it puts a lot of stress on the wire. It gets covered up.

Mine had three flaps and I didn't have to cut anything. I have heated seats. I'm thinking Clazzio changed their design. I'll try and take a picture later.

Yes, they are. Google Clazzio and order on their website.

Depends on what you mean as "good". They won't fit as tight as Katskins but as far as looks and feel, I'd but them at 95% look and feel for less than half the price.

With Clazzios you can always remove them if they get damaged or stained and you still have cloth underneath, Katskins means you're committed to leather as the cloth is removed.

I have Katskins in another car and the Clazzios are almost as nice as they are.
