No offense but why are you still on the Tacoma board if you got rid of your truck?

    I had a 06 Tacoma sport 4x4 AC., Currently have a 09 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab.
Why to I post or read TW? I am wanting to get back to a mid size PU. Reading posts on forums like this provides good information on the pro/con of the vehicle. I also participate on a Nissan, Honda and Chevy/GMC forums.

For me it is just another tool to use to see what others think about the mid size pick up.

Posts on TW has convinced me to not purchase a 2016 Tacoma. Some of the issues posted on TW, I experienced in the couple of test drives I have taken in different models of the Tacoma. I am still evaluating the different mid size pick up, but most likely have ruled out Chevy/GMC.

The annoying thing is when people sell their Tacomas and stay here to troll and talk about how their new truck is the best thing since sliced bread.

Agreed. Like I stated the forum is a good place to ask questions and get information.

Though it seems turn around is fair play on this forum where Tacoma owners bash other brands. just saying.
    I just ignore the bs.

Ive had mine since december and 4300 miles. Third gear shift flare thats driving me nuts. Ill see what the dealer says next week. Horrible wind noise that i think was resolved with new plugs in the control arms today (already had one set installed) Passenger A pillar grab handle peeling (fixed under warranty). Really dont want the dealer to put a trans in my truck (dont trust some techs). Speedometer notchy readings and not in synch with the digital speedo. The list seems to go on and on...

You might consider updating your profile then, it only lists your 2014.

says the 2014 owner? I have no problems and love my truck...there is a thread on TW where people voted on this issue and over 95 % are happy with very little to no problems. Seems like people who have the problems get the most attention, so non-third gen owners assume it's with the majority of the trucks...when in fact I don't think that's the case at all.

I was under this impression as well, and looked hard for the reported issues when I drove mine, I have none, this truck by far is my favorite tacoma of the 5 I've had.
