my springs are sagging a lot in the back now and my truck needs to sit up a little higher. I have 5100's in the front set half way. Would AAL and 5100's be ideal for the rear?

You must have stock coils up front w/ your 5100's? For you 5100's & AAL would be cheaper than buying a new leaf pack for both sides and still have to buy the 5100's for the rear. But if the springs are sagging that much you might just want to get new leaf packs to your preferred height. In the long run it will be better

My rear springs were pretty saggy on my 97 and an add a leaf and 5100s out back made a big difference. I have 2.5 in spacers up front and before the aal the front sat noticeably higher than the rear, but with the aal the rear is now slightly higher than the front. I was actually surprised how much difference it made

I'm on a budget right now, that's why I'm wondering. I can always do new leaf packs later on when I've got some real play money. I need shocks anyways for the rear so those gotta come. I figured AAL would be good for me because of the budget and it should bring me up some and help with sagging.

Most definitely! Go for an AAL then! I think it says the rear 5100's handle a 1 - 2

Yes sir! I talked to Downsouth Motorsports. They have 5100's for 0-1.5" and then another set of 5100's for dakars.

An AAL is a single leaf I thought. A pack would be the leaf pack that is way more expensive. I have a 1.5" AAL with 5100's in the back. And adjustable 5100's with 3" 620lb Eibach coils. Plus Camburg UCA's.
