Hello, New guy here. I purchased my blue 2015 Tacoma about June of 2015. Its the TRD Off Road. This is the first truck I have owned and so I am all new to the truck world. I recently just added a 3inch readylift to the truck and am now working on getting wheels and tires, thinking goodyear duratrac's 265/70 on 17's. Other than those mods mentioned don't have a whole lot planned for her right now.

I look forward to talking with yall and getting to know more in the Tacoma world.

Welcome. Be sure to get your tires in C-load, not heavy E-load which will rob MPGs and power. Nice job getting the Off Road, with ATRAC and the rear locker. Get those tires on, go out and get it dirty! Also, post some pics!

E-load is for a 1 ton truck. Tacomas come stock with P load. C load is 50% stronger than stock. No need to pay the sacrifices for more.

Welcome in Damon! My first truck as well and Ive started modding the hell out of it. Get that wallet ready my friend. Lights, skid plate, tires, grill, suspensions, racks, bars, argh! And this forum gets the juices flowing. . Too bad the juice doesn't quite match my cash flow 1:1!

You'll love the Forum and be sure to post up some pics

Luckily it came from the dealer with all the skid plates! Didn't have to spend the extra bit out of pocket for those or well I guess I kinda did with the loan but didn't hurt the wallet that way..

Im working grave yard tonight and cant get the pictures to come up on my work computer. Will work on getting pictures up in the AM when I get off.

Thanks for the good info on that I would have been the dummy to spend the extra bit. Already saving money, that is before I get to looking around on hear and decide upgrades I need.

    Welcome!

New to Toyota and to trucks as well... I've mostly only drove old third gen Camaros ...so much to learn about; lifts, nerf bars, bumper options and all sorts of things I never had to mess with on a sports car.

I was a car guy myself and then got into motorcycles. Got tired of having to borrow trucks to tow my bike to the track so got myself a truck. Problem is im not one to not do anything to a vehicle so now time to build the truck up and have fun off road and what not.
