So I'm currently running 5100's all around, stock leaf springs with Wheeler's 1.5'' progressive, and firestone ride rites. I really, really hate the ride quality, especially with the ride rites. I live in a state park and there are only dirt and rock roads where I live, so hitting even the smallest bump makes the ride rites bounce around like crazy and send the back end of my truck into the sky.
Anyway, I'm going to be purchasing the complete 2" kit from OME with the Dakar springs and was wondering about what bump stops I should go with. When I installed the ride rites I cut the factory bump stops off and I'm assuming I'll need to replace them with some kind of stopper once the Dakars are installed.
I run a LEER cap at all times and often haul a couple mountain bikes, and maybe some camping gear. Nothing much heavier than that. Should I just go with some standard bump stops similar to the factory stops? I don't anticipate hauling anything exceptionally heavy.

    Thanks!

How's the ride quality under heavy loads, when hitting the stops? Is it overly bouncy?

Are you planning on keeping your U bolts the way it's facing or are you gonna flip your U bolts. If planning on flipping your U bolts, All Pro has a U bolt flip kit that has the Timbren bumpstop included.

I have stock bumps with dakars still but I'm crazy like that, and I didn't feel like changing them out till I decided on a rear shock length. But yes they do go bang lol

I just put Dakars on with my airbags. The ride is awesome. I have the Dakar AAL and my bags (with Daystar cradle) are at 15psi currently. I was running 35 - 45 psi to maintain ride height with my daily cargo, but now the springs are doing the work and the bags are just squishy bump stops. You already have them, I say keep them. You'll need an extension for the air bag bottom bracket that goes down to the axle. I also put Bilstein B110 shocks in. I had OME N182s, but was told that the OME shock is the limiting factor for droop - that the Dakar will droop more than the shock. I have extended brake lines already.

I haven't been offroad - I just got ... the finishing touches... done today, but for bumps and pot holes on road the ride is soooo much smoother.
