I'm right in the middle of fishing season! Plan to glass the pods in June though... Sounds pretty good already , so that's not motivating me to get it done .. Lol

Could you possibly post a picture of the stock tweeter grills from the bottom side?

At this point, its sand, sand, and more sand!

I have some equipment on its way and doing some research here. So, at 23V and a 4ohm speaker, are you saying the stock HU is producing 123W of power per channel? Something seems off here. I'm a car radio rookie so I may be way off...

This project is over the hump.. However, I have wait til it cools down.. MY shop is about 95 to 100F in July /August! No fun to work.

    Items to finish:

    1) PODs ; trim, sand, paint, done..
    2) Tuck in wires
    3) Tune ; I plan to post pics..

System already rocks! I will say that I'm very happy with the PODs, great sound stage.

A TIP for future builders, I highly recommend putting alot of watt power in the doors for mid bass; the PODs do the rest.. The sundown woofer is fabulous..

Talk to you guys in the fall..

Reminds me of how much I don't miss this process. I love having a 3d printer for this kind of stuff.

if you are shooting for optimal sound in the drivers seat you could just make sure the angles/axis match from your ears. they would't look symmetrical but would be the best for response and easier time alignment

What I meant was, how do you program the 3D printer to produce a POD with the angle that you want? I don't understand the reference coordinate.. Also, get the curvature correct on the dash..
