    I have a brand new loaded explorer for my rental this week. As much as I hate to admit it, this is a great car. Even with Jersey/ny traffic it's so easy to drive, and comfortable...

    I can't imagine how much this one was. Has the panoramic moonroof, heated and cooled seats, nav, mirrors that fold in when you lock it, parking sensors everywhere. And it's smooth as butter

    Lol, so I'm not completely insane, yet. It's tough keeping up with this thread sometimes.

    Morning all.

    I like the new Explorer, I just wish they'd put a real frame under it like the old ones.
    So it has the Asian driver package installed? :D

    What engine does it have, the ecoboost or just the N/A V6? I'd love to get my hands on one of the Sport models with the 3.5L ecoboost, that thing must seriously haul ass.

    Morning everybody. 3:30 this AM, wide awake for no reason. And since it starts getting light out at 4:00AM now, there was no going back to sleep.
    I suspect I'll be :pccoffee: by this evening, lol. Hopefully a jog after work will let me power through.
    What = summer gig?

    I work at a trade school camp for elementary and middle school kids teaching plumbing "for kids". I teach basic cutting/joining techniques of sch40 PVC pieces together and build stuff like marshmallow shooters, water blasters, trebuchets, etc...

    Sounds like a fun job. Sounds like a headache too, if the kids aren't handy, haha!

    Well it's a quickie job, over and done in a month, pays really well actually better than my normal monthly salary. It's definitely different from my usual since these kids don't really do anything creative it's just build from start to finish. Most days feels like an assembly line, but the kids definitely make it fun. I'll be looking forward to my Vacation once its over though for sure!!! :D

    But does it roll over like the first gen? That was a nice feature on those..

    For my bachelor party we rented a Ford Excursion. Not a bad ride but my goodness I could not drive that every day. Too much crap to go wrong with all the power toys.

    We've got one of the new exploders at work. It does ride nice, has worse rear visibility than my FJ though. I took it out a few times in the snow this winter and was pretty impressed with the awd on it.
