I was gonna say, I personally dont think they look too small, not enough to worry much over in the meantime until you can get bigger ones anyhow. I plan on running my KOs even after my 2" lift until they're out of life, they're great tires and would run me over another cool grand just to replace with slightly larger ones

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Although you could probably get 2/3ds of them by selling the ones you have.

Lifting without increasing tire size is a great way to realize the inside of the fender well is ugly... lol

define (too) much... haha Her fight is that these tires are only 5k miles old. I have to pick and choose my battles usually. I just bought these 10 weeks ago, and she hasn't even replaced her tiers since we bought her Venza in 2014. hahaha I bought the wheels two weeks in, then lift one week later, then UCA's the following week, last week was rear bumper, sliders, and OBA, and ARB rear locker tomorrow. It's been kind of "all me" lately.

I'll have to try this method. I definitely stare at bigger and more aggressive tires with envy. Even worse when they're on a rig parked next to mine.:(
I've been avoiding the ring for about 6 years (commitment issues)

I like the wheels I've got, but thanks for the offer:thumbsup:

In all honesty I can't say with experience but I don't think spacers will actually make the tires look bigger.

True, and these Toyo Open Country ATII's have performed extremely well so far. That's another part of the struggle, I have yet to get stuck because of my tires. That's why the locker was such an easy purchase.

Best option here. Sell early for most $ back or drive them until they're near dead and get a few bucks from them.

Took me the better part of 2.5/3 years to finally lift/throw the Rugged Trails off to someone else, I still got $200 for them and he was happy to get them

I put the 1.25 spacers on when I had my 265/70/16s and it gave the truck a great stance that in my opinion made it look larger. Only had to remove front mud flaps but there was no other rubbing. After I upgraded to 285 i kept the spacers on cause the trd rim backspacing would cause rub on the arm. Really only need .25" spacer but the truck looks sick with the tires out the way they are. But you guys also know I rip my fenders off on the crazy stuff ...hence the new lift I just bought. Still may not fix the problem but Im trying.
I don't think your going to rub with 1.25 spacers on your current tire size. but who knows till you try. I have four Bora 3/4" wheel spacers that you can try out. 1 of them is missing a bolt that can probably be bought somewhere.( thats the one I drilled out the other day.lol)

when you get to 33 tires or larger u are adding a lot of stress to many things. axles are definitely a weak point. if you add a locker to the mix then u are definitely adding more stress. I am 35s locked out front and rear. upgraded tie rods, anyway, at 33 and larger the axles are weak and you cant get heavy duty cv yet. so staying with a smaller tire will help the longevity of ur rig until they have stronger axles and cv joints

wheel spacer only pushes tire out to increase width. it will look wider
