    Good idea, it'll be a while though. Shipping out next month for basic and really thinking of a ls1 swap for my first paycheck.



    Thanks guys, would extended travel be worth it for me? And would I need new uca's for 3"?
    I know you have to have new uca's to gain anything for ext. travel but if I don't need them for 3" of lift I won't bother

    It'd be best that you get UCA's if you have the fancy shocks anyways. Better alignment numbers

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    3" of lift isnt worth it. On these trucks 2" is about perfect. 3" puts the cv axles at terrible angles and you'll tear boots every 6 months. And you loose down travel. A lot of it. Making for a worse ride.

    You loose caster as you lift our trucks. New UCAs allow you usually to gain the caster back.

    How would I be able to fit 305s? Not planning on going to 35s but a tall 33 would be nice.

    And got any names for good uca's?

    you fit 35s on 3" lift the same way you fit them on no lift. by tubbing.

    Yup. You can fit 35s with no lift...lots of tubbing tho

    Not played up, the remote part depends on your mounting options vs. a piggyback. And you get like 2x the shock vs. a non-resivoired.

    Drop bracket lift and booger welds
    I think what Tim is saying that many people who get the remote resi fronts don't go fast enough off road to need the resi to prevent shock fade. That or are usually limited by their rear's setup. There are exceptions to this of course.

    Resis are great for LT trucks who are running fast woops and constantly cycling the suspension.

    For low speed trails, they offer nothing other than TW cred.

    Well I guess while we're kind of on the subject. I thinking I'm gonna have 400-500$ to spend on rear shocks, what would you people say to get? When I get my new leaf springs and bumpstops on I'm going to get the fully extended and compressed measurements but till then I just want to see what your opinions would be.

    I say go with some kings just because itl match your front but fox and icon smooth bodies fit in your price range aswell
