I have to lube mine every few months, they get super loud. I have mentioned this before here but the triflow wont hold up out here in the dry AZ heat. I now use Bel Rey dry lube and the shit is awesome. Great penetration into the ball and doesnt grab dirt like the triflow.

From what I've seen, if you keep them clean you shouldn't have to lube them very often or at all.

Debateable. I didnt touch mine for the first 15-20k and then boom, they were screaming on every turn. Its like a rusty old door from a horror movie.

So yea, id say dont lube them until you need to but use the bel rey when you need it.

    Bad story.... horrible night.

Im horrible about cleaning my truck. The last time I cleaned the lowers and uppers are when I installed the lift on the new truck from the old one. This Bel Rey is legit tho. It even matches TC grey Powder coat :)

That tri flow holds dirt and grease and I regret using it. Ill say it again. Go with nothing until they get loud (if they get loud)
Then use a dry lube after. I think thats the best solution.

Im surprised you SoCali boys don't hear it with the sand, salt and heat.

    ...too much shit to list.
Depends on which Triflow you use. I use the Dry (grey label...not red)

I see that on the website for TriFlow. Im going to assume that I used the wet because of the buildup of dirt on the ball. The other thing about triflow I didnt like was in the cooler months the lube would almost turn solid and would not penetrate around the ball. It looked like I gave my lowers a facial vs lubing them up.

Regardless, ill be due up for some rebuilds soon enough at almost 60k on them. This time around I know better. They will get a thorough cleaning and some new FN UBs.

TC makes a 1" adapter to press them out. I dont know about Camburg since they use a 1.25 UB (I think)
But I assume its just a process to press the old one out and the new ones in.

Jason, Care to comment on this? Im sure youve rebuilt a set by now.

The other day my truck had a horrible squeak everytime I moved the steering wheel just a little left and right. I would go over a speed bump and no squeak. I thought it was the steering rack. Sprayed a lil tri flow on the uniballs for safe measure and now no squeak.

I've had that in dusty conditions, washed the uniballs and lubed them and it's gone.
