One thing I really want to change is that ricey sounding Gibson muffler that's on my truck right now . It's part of the Gibson cat back the PO installed a few years ago , that muffler sounds like a fart can on a Honda . I want to put a manly sounding exh such as the Spintech street pro or Flowmaster 10 series delta force 1 chamber race muffler

He did a lot of dyno testing with his 2nd gen. His goal was improving low end torque rather than HP. His muffler tests didn't show much improvement for torque over the stock muffler, iirc. His best bang for the buck was the LCE long tube, which is why I have been interested in that header.

Well stopped by my muffler shop with the header and guess what , it's the wrong effing header !!!!! :annoyed::frusty:

I was told wrong what header is correct for my application . I do have a EGR port on the stock exh manifold and the head pipe is a dual outlet . The header I've got is non EGR and the collector flange is for 2-1/4". The flange is oddball so no reducer flange or connection available according to my muffler shop contact

Another issue is he won't warranty the install because of the supercharger . He told me the heat from the exh due to the supercharger will destroy the header in no time . He did mention if I could find the correct header he would install it

Now I've got to call Doug Thorley back and talk to their tech dept and hopefully I can be refunded as this I believe was special order as I had to wait (3) weeks for them to mfg it

Supposedly this is the header my muffler guy says is correct

The 3rd pic down is what I've got right now !!

That's great! What did they say about the thermal issue with the SC? Will it last?

They should ship the new one out since they sent the wrong one before!!!!

I'm pooped - grass is cut and the stump is out!!!!! Man what a pain in the rump!!! Couldn't dig any deeper since I was getting into my leach field. But it's out!!!! woohoo!!!! Now I can burn the rest of the roots, etc and fix the sprinklers!!!!! Then it's gonna get expensive... find a landscaper to level my yard.

 time to walk the pups!! Have a good evening all
