my taco is full of about 16 computer servers and raids, basically a full height rack worth of gear that I yanked out of our old facility tonight, and will be installing at the new site tomorrow.... its enough weight that it felt tail heavy driving home. I wanna get air bags so I can level loads like this :D

    not-a-tacoma-butt...

my son's art project moves forward. they fit the ladders, and built the first of the 4 upper deck railings today. the lower ladder isn't attached yet, its going to be hinged ladder hanging on chains from the upper deck, with the bottom step 6-9" off the ground....

thats a 1990s M925A1 5 ton 6x6, which has a 14L 6 cyl cummins diesel, with a 5 speed automatic transmission, and fully automatic all-wheel traction control, it will go about 50-60 MPH on either pavement or mud :D its got a massive winch on the front bumper (really slow, but it has 250 feet of 5-ton cable).

they've built a 8 x 24' deck 12 feet above ground, over the 8 x 24 main flatbed. the top railings fold down for travel, and yet to be built are the 8' wide side panels on either side of the main flatbed level, plus the hoop-n-fabric giant whale that will cover it all.

the open 8x8' square directly over the cab will have a cargo net/hammock woven from old climbing ropes.

2016_og_pekko_bottle[1].png eek, my wife brought me this bomber (22oz) home for Fathers Day, and I just cracked it. whaaaa, 11% knock your socks off. at least its fresh, this tastes like the sort of strong ale that can get to be really nasty when it starts to go skunky.

Here's the first of a playlist of videos from Sonic Bloom, 2016, in Rye, CO. This is some of the best music and visuals you'll get from the transformational scene, so give some of the videos a watch and enjoy Quixotic, SunSquabi, Wick-it The Instigator, Defunk, Kayla Scintilla, EOTO,...
