I figured that's what someone would say, that's what I was thinking anyway. Yeah Kings are just a little up there but I guess we'll have to see how busy I get. I need to get Ucas too... Or I'd just get the Kings.

I can see you ripping all this off and going lt in a couple years if youve gone this far doing yardwork while still in school.

    Okay.

If you're looking for a cheap lift. And wanting to fit bigger tires then 33s without tubbing and yet want to tackle an ls swap...

    Wtf..

305s will need a bit of tubbing. At that point, might as well tub and do 35s. Then you'll med to regear. Yes, even with the v8. Otherwise 4lo will feel like your racing.

Doing a v8 swap..is not easy and defineitly not cheap in any way. Id reconsider that option is buying 2k in front suspension makes you cringe. Which, you will need to do as you'll want 700lb coils for a v8

In a few years hopefully I'll be at least part of the way through college and getting ready to make some decent $. Just trying to do it right the first time I guess.

Wait until college, marriage, kids. The sentence: "I'm gonna have 400-500$ to spend on rear shocks" will not happen for some time.

What kit did you use to make your gauges white? What is the small "Toyota" to the left of the steering wheel?

Yes, I know. I'm weird like that.
I already thought of the 700lb coils.
    Didn't think of 4lo gearing....

I've decided the marriage part isn't gonna be till at least 25 anyway. So I have 7 years to 8 years. And I'm only a senior this year so even more time.

Checked my power steering fluid a few days ago and it was a bit low. No leaks that I could see so I decided to do a flush, since it had probably never been done. Went to a friends house today to do it cause there was more shade and its damn hot right now. I forgot to bring my floor jack so had to use car jack to get jack stands underneath. I never used the jack before and made sure I positioned where the manual states, problem was I maxed the jack out and tire was still on the ground. Had to put a piece of 2x8 under jack to get enough lift. Is this normal for a stock vehicle?
    BTW flush job went smooth.

The factory tacoma jack? I believe it should come with an extension piece. Never used it before myself...

Yes, the factory jack. Don't believe there was any missing extension piece, and jack did extend quite a ways, just not enough to get wheel off the ground.
