    I agree with you. The wrap is inside the shackle though. I'm concerned that if I use the truck for work there could be contact where there shouldn't be -I need to haul trailer loads of green wood on a job that I purposely under bid for a friend. I know the truck is fine in the big picture. I just need to have the spring install redone. It's frustrating. I am feeling a little better after a short run. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

    These are OME Dakars, correct? Isn't there a brightly painted yellow arrow indicating the front of the spring with a + for the drivers side and a - for the passenger side?

    Yep. + and - are for under and over spec, not for sides, mine were both 0 meaning on spec.

    My understanding is it has to do with being over/under spec, nothing to do with driver side lean (although I guess it could help). Just my .02.

    My mechanic was appalled and very apologetic. He's fixing the spring issue and even putting the support extension on my air bag bracket. I didn't ask for anything other than he make things right. I'll let you know if there's more news after picking up the truck later.

    If anyone is wondering, the springs were riding really nice installed backwards. :D

    All is well. My truck is back together as it should be and they welded extensions on the air bag brackets for me. The truck rides soooo much better than the 2+1 and airbags. I can't wait to flex it a little see the improvement in articulation. The B110 is a much longer shock, but I figure with some air in the bags I'll be safe from bottoming them out.

    Oh, @jtweezy I zip tied rubbers to my dackers, so no squeak for me!

    How well did the air bag extensions profile the axle, got any pics? I had a shop weld on extensions that they made and while the weld is fine it doesn't contour the axle very well imo

    No vibes so far. I have the CB drop, no shims. I also have the AAL

    My guy made one. No contour at all. I'm either going to return or sell the Firestone extension. It does have a very nice contour though.

    Are they the 2506 brackets? That looks like what I probably need since I'm about 2" lifted in the back. The problem is they tried to contour an extension bracket but ended up making too tight of a radius so just the outer tips of the bracket are in contact with the axle, and nothing in contact at the top of the axle. Not sure if that makes sense but it's really not a good contact.

    I got the 5" brackets with the intent of passing the half I didn't use to another member. I haven't put them up to the axle, but the contour looks good. I'll check it with the axle and get back to you.
