TRD supercharger

What is this for? Did someone put this in for oil changes? It threads into it

 

Ok so another helpful question of the day: so I had the awesome misfortune of grenading a bearing yesterday and after learning from my mistake, the part I'm pointing at is this part of the inner bearing bore?

 

Picture of another shaft (not mine). I'm thinking it is, so it'll need to be pressed out still

Got the new rotor pack! Sc gonna be 100% after this! If anyone is looking for a rebuild kit I have a spare!

 

I really need to get my pulley installed! Had an encounter with a new Mustang GT. He didn't leave me as fast as I thought he would and based on the noise coming out of his exhaust he was all in. He seemed a little frustrated as he right turned on red without stopping at all.

 

even with the pulley, he's going to get you lol

 

Yeah, I had a go with a newer 5.0 once. It was an absolutly epic beatdown on the tacoma, no question about it. Sorry but I doubt that he was completely on it and by no means was he frustrated.

 

I would expect him too. However, the site of a lifted, big tired Tacoma taking you off the line has to be a bit frustrating. Made me laugh.

Yep no matter what car you have and what mods youve done, somewhere out there, someone will beat you. Aka theres always a bigger fish.

 

Weird, theres this mustang I see every so often in the mornings after a night shift that tries to race me every time and if im at the right speed 65ish I can usually hit third for quick bump up to 4th and i take off on him but I usually hit the governor and he zooms off, but 75% of the time I'm ahead the whole time. No idea what hes running, but I kmow he gets agro about it lol. On a closed course obviously...

 

I could see that. The charger definitely brings it when you've already got about 30mph or so. That off the line is sorely lacking though

 

My off the line is pretty fun, but #6speed

 

That is how you attach the static tensioner to the SC. Not an oil fill point.

 

Learned that pretty quickly. I still drive a truck no matter what the mods. High end sports cars leave me in their dust.

 

I'm pretty happy being able to smoke most full sizes on the road. Its pretty fun seeing their face when I start pulling on them and they are pedal to the metal.
