I just picked up my Taco TRD Off Road yesterday. I'm planning to do a 2.5" lift kit with TRD Pro wheels. Anyone know if I can run 275/70/17. Im trying to avoid rubbing and trimming. Thanks in advance.

I just had a Icon Stage 2 kit installed professionally. I picked up my trd pro wheels. Just can't decide on tire size but leaning toward 275 KO2s

Gotcha. I want to run 285 but I heard some slight trimming will need to be done which I don't want to do. Hence why I'm leaning toward 275s. 265s look too small to be honest. lol

Yes I have stock tires on now and they are small but I don't want to cut up my 40 k truck

    Stock "for now"
:annoyed: I want to lift it already. But I don't want to spend 3-4 g's right now. Do you think adjustable 5100's are better than the off-road shocks that come stock?

I'm going to attempt 255/85R16 on my DCSB OR with no lift. Just have to wait for some $$ to clear up. Anyone try this yet? Any thoughts? I think it should work out with how skinny the tires are, and with the "body lift" on the 16' from the 15'.

That looks great and those tires fill up the wheel well in a nice way. Love the 275/65's and it's even better that they don't rub w/o a lift. Maybe the Nitto's run a bit smaller?

    Thank You
When I was ordering the wheel tire package they said I might need a leveling kit but they wasn't sure so I went ahead and took a chance and surprisingly no rubbing or any kind of problems. One thing I noticed is that the truck sits a little higher than on stock wheels.

Hmmm, seeing them this way is making me think I should just do the same and keep my wheels rather than getting new ones...
