Well, regarding charging the low 3V lead-acid battery, I was able to do this so far... AND... I am still alive and not a charred corpse, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: It SHOULD finish charging by tonight, BUT the real TEST is if it will "hold a charge" and/or be able to withstand "holding a charge during it being loaded down"??? If it can't hold a charge just sitting there, well, the battery is pretty much spent! But, it is charging, so NOW, at the very least, I know I can charge other batteries and will be modifying this so that I can flip a switch and charge lead-acid batteries externally and disconnect (internally) the battery inside??? Well, that's the idea at least. :notsure: At the very least, the next set of sealed lead-acid batteries I get (i.e. 12V), I can keep them charged accordingly without them getting down to trashed levels!!! Anyways, I'm still alive to post LONNNNNNNG posts, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl:

Locally? No. You'd probably have to visit a specialized hardware store... I found them on Amazon but the bolt they wanted was quite large: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SWGLHW

Didn't work for me. I'm still having neck issues. Injury attorney just said that's all we'd get. :frusty:

What about "channel spring nut(s)"? I'm pretty sure the springs can somehow be removed from the nut itself? :notsure: Home Depot looks like they would carry them???!!!

If not, what is meant by "locally"... so that I am better educated? Just trying to help give out any ideas of possibilities?!

I bought mine on Amazon as well. If you can't find them how many do you need? I'm not exactly local but I still have some if you feel like driving to SD. You could also order them with next day shipping at get them pretty quick

Yeah, good ol' Mike answered my question about "locally", LOL!!! Now, I've been educated!!!:rofl::rofl:

I was going to say places that are more "hardware" specific. There is Mcmaster Carr (sp) here in HB I believe and then you have ACE Hardware on Edinger and Springdale street just across the street from the high school prison!!! LOL!!! I call it a prison because it has like some F'N moat surrounding the damn school, LOL???!!! Keep the kids from escaping??? :notsure::facepalm:

Yeah the lady had nothing so it was either I fight insurance myself or just accept the cheeseball settlement they gave me. Oh well. I got a ton of chiropractic for free I guess.

Same. It helps for a few days and then the stiffness starts to come back then the burning sensation in my neck and shoulders... eh.

Didn't know you busted your neck as well, must have missed it if it got brought up in Idyllwild. Hopefully it doesn't still give you too much trouble
