Sine-wave Inverter: Replace existing or install under seat? What brand?

    Has anyone replaced the existing inverter with a sine-wave inverter? I was thinking about an 800 watt sine-wave inverter. Sounds like it may be easier just to do a separate one. Thoughts?
    I read all the inverter threads and not much mention of a sine-wave inverter.

    Why?? ( Any inverter is a sine wave inverter- True sine wave or a modified or square sine wave)

    The "true" set ups I found seem significantly more expensive and the only real benefit gained is when used topower specialized equipment....

    Near field studio monitor speakers. I figured even with the cost of a sine-wave inverter these speakers with 75 w power, built in crossovers, great components, super sound, etc will be cheaper than going the "car component route". And I want to run the netbook/GPS software as well.
