    One step closer to being able to see when I drive out to the middle of the state.

    Just finished getting the bike put back together and garage sorted. @velillen , that thread restorer kit worked amazing! I didn't have any tap oil, so I used sausage grease based on a trick I learned online. Worked great.

    Allpro in western Montana isn't far. Marshall Offroad Fab is in Vancouver. And Red Goat in eastern WA made an awesome looking second gen bumper that that was featured in a thread here. For some reason he doesn't list it as an option on his website.

    Can someone with a 6 speed do me a favor. Next time your out driving, go 60mph and throw your truck in neutral. Look at the rpms and let me know where there at please. Thanks

    Glad it worked out for ya! The kit is definitely worth the money to have on hand. I generally grab it first before a tap just to try to not cut new threads.

    everything is exactly what i wanted except its white instead of green.
    white was my 3rd choice

    i still eye fuck the shit out of the green ones everytime one drives by...
