hell marty i've been working / playing with my truck all day i stripped the black off my rear bumper and made it white and just about got done with the raptor light grill mod. my only hold up is hooking up the hot wire they say in thread to tap into the green/power wire for the parking lights. i just don't like malesting a factory harness

i guess i'm just dumb or something i don't mind putting on a lift, extra lights, painting, and other things but i'll be darned if i can make myself drill a hole in the body or god forbid do something like some people do like chopping their fenders. i applaud them for having that courage

you were perhaps much wiser than me i jumped on installing a trailer hitch immediately so i could pull my trailer and then directly to a lift. my local shop recomended the rough country 3" spacer lift in the front with 2" blocks in the rear. that was before i found tw and idk i may have done something different but it does what i needed it to and rides well. i've got about the patience of a gnat

    Evening all

After the first one it gets easy.

As far as the wires go, just use those blue taps, no cutting needed

i may have to result to that. if you are reffering to the scotchlock connectors that crimp ovejoining them. we have bad luck with winter salt geting them and ruining the wires

Still sleepy. Last night was chaos in our house. Had a squirrel climb down the chimney and get into the house. 3 dogs, 5 birds, and the wife all went into full tilt frenzy. Got the dogs in the bedroom, opened up the front and back door, then chased the squirrel out with a broom. After that, no one would calm down enough to let me sleep.

    Just another day in paradise.

Im in the research mode now. Ilike the idea of soft top but I don't think it will work for me because the truck is left in the woods for nights at a time wile I hike. I know someone can break in to a hard top they may have to work at a tad longer.

Soft tops are cool.....for a while.....After that they are just old tents. My experience with 'em was on rag top Jeeps, but all the same. I got in the habit of buying a new top once a year.

i mainly wanted a hard top so i can lock hunting gear in it and leave it during the season but i really like the option of being able to quickly drop the top
